Former Dallas quarterback turned commentator Tony Romo predicts every play before it happens
On the field, former Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo was known as being one of the best play-callers to never win a Super Bowl.
Now, the CBS commentator is proving just how well he knows the game from the sidelines – predicting every clutch play the New England Patriots made in their victory over the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship game.

Joining veteran caller Jim Nantz in the box since the start of the 2017 season, Romo has fast become a favourite for viewers with his extensive knowledge of the game and genuine excitement on big plays.
But it’s his ability to call the play before it happens that has the world talking.
“This is pure football genius,” wrote ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith.
“He’s calling – literally calling – plays before they happen.”
Even NFL players were blown away by Romo’s play-calling ability.
“He should be a coach,” wrote Denver wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders.
“He called out everything they were doing.”
Thankfully, Romo will be in the box again for Super Bowl 53 as the Patriots return to American Football’s biggest dance against the recently returned Los Angeles Rams.
