Kangana Ranaut CONFIRMS Tanu weds Manu 3 with Aanand L Rai to happen soon
Kangana Ranaut is all set to light up the silver screen with her steely performance in Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi as the film will release this Friday on January 25. The actress' directorial debut has her all geared up as she is busy promoting her film. The film's producer Kamal Jain, however, was hospitalised last week after he suffered a paralytic stroke and the team of Manikarnika has been out there to support him. In an interview to Mumbai Mirror, Kangana revealed that the team has taken over all his responsibilities and are praying for him.
The 'Queen' actress also spoke about her experience of directing her first film and her future projects. When she was asked whether she had watched Zero given that Aanand L Rai and she go way back to the Tanu weds Manu franchise, Kangana revealed,“I have been too busy with Manikarnika to attend any of the trials of Zero but Ananadji is coming for a show of our film. We would be announcing Tanu Weds Manu 3 soon.” The first two installments of the film Tanu weds Manu (2011) and Tanu weds Manu Returns (2015) were loved by the audiences and critics alike.
Manikarnika was recently screened at the Rashtrapati Bhavan for President Ram Nath Kovind and political personalities like LK Advani. Speaking about the reaction to the film, Kangana told MM, "Phenomenal. Everyone stood up and clapped at the end. Mr LK Advani told me 'wonderful direction' thrice. And noted certain subtle nuances which was unusual when everyone was talking about my performance".
