Mani Rathnam to Cast Tollywood Star in Dream Project
He had discussions with Mahesh Babu, Ram Charan and Nani for various movies on various occasions but none of them had worked out.
Now he again is trying to convince either Vijay Deverakonda or Nani for next big project.
He has recently finalized Vikram as one of the stars for his dream project which is based on Tamil classic novel "Ponniyin Selvan".
Amitabh Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai are also going to play key roles in this Rs 150 Cr project that will be made in Tamil, Hindi and Telugu languages.
Mani Ratnam is also said to have convinced Tamil superstar Vijay and Simbu to be part of this mega-budget flick.
If everything goes well, either Nani or Vijay Deverakonda might join this project. He wants one star from Tollywood to be part of this for budget reasons.
Although his recent movie 'Nawab' won great reviews, the film didn't click in Telugu market. The Tamil version was a hit.
We have to see whether Nani or Vijay Deverakona would agree to play small roles in this mega project. Also Nani has signed two movies in Telugu. Vijay Deverakonda too has his kitty full.
