It's Arjun Kapoor Vs John Abraham! Ashutosh Gowariker's Panipat to Clash With Anees Bazmi's Pagalpanti?
Bollywood clashes cannot be averted, thanks to the limited slots on the Bollywood calendar. We all know that massive competition between the filmmakers to release their film on public holidays or festivals. So, the latest ones to compete with each other are John Abraham and Arjun Kapoor with their films Pagalpanti and Panipat, respectively. As you can see, both the films are of entirely two different genres. While one is out and out a mass entertainer, another one is a historical war drama. Both the movies have their own chunk of the audience and it certainly does not have to eat each other's business.
Bollywood Hungama, reported a source saying, "Since they are starting the movie in the first half of 2019, the makers are looking out for a date during the end of the year. They have decided to lock the date as December 6, 2019.”
Interestingly, Anees Bazmi's previous film was with Arjun Kapoor namely Mubaraakan. The film was an instant hit and now the maker is ready to take on his lead star's next film. Pagalpanti also stars Ileana D'Cruz, Anil Kapoor, Kriti Kharbanda, Arshad Warsi, Pulkit Samrat and Urvashi Rautela in the lead. On the other hand, Panipat stars Kriti Sanon, Sanjay Dutt, Padmini Kolhapure in the lead.
John Abraham has been winning the hearts with his patriotic movies like Parmanu and Satyameva Jayate. This will be like a break for this image of him as he will once again in a comedy space after Desi Boyz, Garam Masala, Housefull and more such films.
